The food and Drug Administration has been forced to issue a statement on the use of Anti- parasitic medication in the market used for veterinary purposes as unfit for human consumption. Ivermectin, the drug in question, had been used for several years to treat parasites in humans.  The rush to buy the drug came as studies on the drug had been conducted.

The results found inconclusive results to the cure of the dreaded covid- 19. Many took this as a sign that although the studies did not state it worked substantially, no study outright stated that it was not sufficient to some extent, many thinking it was a hit and miss.

Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been an absolute rush by members of the public to have a sure way to ensure they do not disrupt their way of life.

The craze started with many turning to the essential oils before the former US President Donald J Trump advocated for hydroxychloroquine curing the disease. However, this was short-lived as he suffered from the symptoms and had to be hospitalized after contracting the disease in late October.

The food and drug administration issued a warning against the use of the drug in a statement saying.

“FDA is concerned about the health of the general public who are resorting to self-medicating by taking Ivermectin which is intended for the treatment of animals. The drug is not interchangeable with Ivermectin manufactured for use in humans. These drugs will cause serious side effects if taken by humans.”

The report barely came out a week after the FDA stated more people were prescribed anxiety medication due to the loneliness the pandemic brought. They advised many more to look for reputable natural anxiety supplements as the pandemic is a phase that will end.

The FDA emphasized that the use of Ivermectin should only be taken when a licensed health practitioner prescribed it. The organization went further ahead and instructed citizens to buy the products from legitimate and reputable sources to get the certified and safe drugs.

The history of Ivermectin started in the 1970s and is used as a veterinary drug used to kill external and internal parasites in livestock and pets. Its usage evolved as it was modified to treat parasitic infections in humans. Considered safe for human use, an overdose of the drug causes severe health issues in humans.

According to a Missouri Poison center report, an overdose of the drugs can cause seizures, Coma, Lung, and heart problems. Missouri poison center also released a report on the abuse of anxiety medication usage, with many people overdosing on the drug.

The health ministry pointed out that many children are also being diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders. The result comes with the restrictions placed on children having to stay in the confines of the home. The report further stated that the use of natural anxiety supplements is on the rise as families are striving to ignore anxiety medication with all the propaganda on the ill effects of the Covid 19 vaccine around.

Adults seeking treatment of ADHD have been advised to visit a counselor to help them develop the social distance way of living. Even with some states rolling back on the restrictions, some measures will still remain.

With a study happening in Cambridge showing that adults’ anxiety levels are rising with a roadmap on restrictions rollback coming up, the use of anxiety remedies is expected to rise.   The study’s findings show that the lockdown adjustment to many was quick and easy as it was forced on carrying dire consequences. However, the opening up will bring about new heightened anxiety levels as the new standard will be on one’s free will on matters. With the fear understandable, those taking anxiety medication have been warned not to overdose on the medication as it carries the same effect as Ivermectin.
